KJG-15 Paddle Sludge Dryer for Industrial Sludge

 

I. Introduction

KJG series paddle dryer is developed for the drying of paste, granular, powder, cream material. By indirect heating or cooling, it can complete the process of drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, chemical reaction, low temperature calcination, etc.  The design of wedge-shaped mixing paddle endows this dryer with high heat-transmission efficiency, and auto-cleaning function of heat-transfer surface.

There is a dense array of hollow blades on the hollow shaft,the heating medium will flow to the blades through the hollow shaft, so the heat transfer area in unit volume is very large. And the heating medium can be steam, or other liquids, such as hot water, heat-transfer oil, etc. With this indirect heating method, all the heat is used for drying sludge, and no heat will be carried away; so heat loss during working is only the dissipation through the insulating layer to the surroundings. The design of baffle or screw conveyor at the discharging hole can control the feeding out speed of final products. By this design, the heat transfer surface can be completely covered by sludge and make full use of the heat. The heating medium will flow through the rotating joint, the shell jacket to the hollow stirring shaft, and the internal structure of the hollow stirring shaft would be different according to the type of heating medium, to make sure the best heat transfer effect.

III. Features of Paddle Dryer


    1. Continuously Drying: the sludge can feed in from the end on top side and out from another end at the bottom side.
    2. Adjustable rotating speed: users can adjust the rotating speed of dryer according to the drying degree of raw material.
    3. Feeding in sludge with the screw conveyor: with this design, the quantity of sludge feeding in can be in control, at the same time avoiding large amount of cold air going into the dryer.
    4. Cooling system design : there is design of cooling chamber outside the main shaft bearing, and this will prolong the shelf life of bearing.
